Excelsior’s long-standing philosophy is that great wines are made in the vineyards and perfected in the cellar. This lovely red blend is no exception. It is blackish plum in color with aromas of ripe blackcurrants and plummy fruit.
A cool season and moderate weather conditions in the Robertson area during harvest time slowed down ripening, which gave vines the opportunity to develop stunning flavor and color in this year’s crop. We can expect some good wines from this vintage.
